Built for your convenience, the MTR105 combines a suite of motor testing and fault diagnostic tools all in one hand-held unit, including the following tests:
- 1kV Insulation resistance (with temperature measurement and compensation) as insulation resistance varies with temperature
- DLRO (Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeter)
- Inductance and capacitance
- Voltage and resistance
- Motor direction, plus supply phase rotation
When used in combination with the TC3231 thermal camera, you can easily identify hot spots, loose connections, and bearing issues. Combining the convenience of an infrared thermometer with the visual advantage of a thermal imager, the TC3231’s infrared heat map is the perfect troubleshooting compliment to the MTR105
