Ultrasonic Flow Meters
Ultrasonic flow meters are used to measure flow from outside the pipe, not requiring a system shutdown for periodic monitoring. Portable systems measure a wide range of pipe materials and sizes, while fixed systems can be set up to measure a specific flow location without penetrating the pipe itself. Ultrasonic flowmeters can save thousands of dollars over normal invasive fixed systems and are quick and easy to set up, use, and measure. They can also totalize flow, measure energy or btu, and store and download flow surveys.
