TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Mitchell Instrument Coompany (MI) displays and presents products to the best of our ability to be accurate in specifications, appearance and typical application examples. As manufacturers reserve the right to change specifications and designs MI makes no guarantee that all products will be exactly the same as presented on our web site or in our catalogs. MI will keep any non printed product information up-to-date as soon as we are aware of any changes that manufacturers make to them or as soon as we become aware of any erroneous information that exists in the representation of any product. Returns for credit or refunds (New Products): Mitchell Instrument Company makes customer satisfaction our biggest priority. If your purchase from Mitchell Instrument Co. does not meet your expectations, please contact us immediately and we will do everything possible to resolve the problem. Standard stock items can be returned within 30 days of your receipt but must be in original (like new) condition with original packaging in order to qualify for a full refund. Special order items and items with dated calibration may be subject to a restock fee or retest fee. ALL RETURNS MUST HAVE A VALID RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA) NUMBER THAT WILL BE PROVIDED PRIOR TO THE RETURN. Returns for credit or refunds (Used Products): MI does not accept any used equipment returns for credit or refunds. MI does not accept software; video or special order returns for credit or refunds, these sales are final. Delivery: MI will do everything in our power to ship out any product ordered in the fastest possible time frame. We do not guarantee any specific delivery schedule. Customers may call in for availability in which we will provide as accurate as possible delivery information related to any specific item(s) in question. Shipments: MI will ship via UPS unless specified otherwise. F.O.B Freight terms are always shipping point unless quoted otherwise. MI will use customer’s account number for freight billing purposes but reserves the right to charge a handling fee when special handling is required. MI also reserves the right to drop ship products directly from the manufacturers. Tracking Shipments: MI will provide tracking numbers upon request for any shipments made by us via UPS. All questions regarding any aspect about a shipment can be handled through our customer service department at 888-270-2690 or via email to [email protected] MI must be notified within 10 days of receipt of any shipment quantity discrepancies between what is received and what is shown on packing slip. MI will assume all shipments to be verified as received beyond 10 days of receipt. Payment Terms: MI accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express. We will bill on credit terms of Net 30 days to Corporate, Government, Municipal, Utility and Educational firms as well as organizations with credit pre-approval by MI. Warranty Repair: All products are warranted according to manufacturer’s warranty policy. Any warranty repair can be done through MI in which we will handle the necessary paper work and transportation arrangements. The customer is responsible for additional freight incurred in shipments between MI and the manufacturer. Repairs may also be handled directly between the customer and the manufacturer in which all paper work and transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the customer and the manufacturer. Non-Warranty Repair: Any non-warranty repair can be done through MI in which we will handle the necessary paper work and transportation arrangements. The customer is responsible for all repair costs, evaluations and freight incurred in shipments between MI, the manufacturer and the customer. Repairs may also be handled directly between the customer and the manufacturer in which all paper work and transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the customer and the manufacturer. Safety in product use: MI is not liable for any damage, injury or death that occurs while using any instrument, tool or other device sold through us. All liability is solely the responsibility of the manufacture of the product(s) in question and on to the correct use and application (as prescribed by the manufacturer) of the product(s) in question.
