The PIE 532 Process Loop Calibrator features a patented diagnostic Mode that an detect current loop problems by measuring loop leakage current, total loop resistance and AC voltage present ALL in real time while the loop is operating
- Loop leakage indication identifies ground currents caused by faulty wiring, flooded conduits, corrosion bridges
- Measure & Source 4-20mA signals AND 0-24 Volts DC signals
- Source or Simulate, Built in 24V supply enables 2 wire or 4 wire loop output capability
- Spinning the EZ-Dial™ Knob provides exact control of the sourced current in either .1mA or .001mA steps
- EZ-Step function can be programmed with up to 16 steps at time rates from 5 to 900 seconds
- Built in HART® compatibility, HART® mode puts a 250W resistor in series with the output
- Loop leakage current will tell the user of any ground currents caused by faulty wiring, flooded conduits, corrosion bridges, etc..
