Oberon's Arc Suppression blankets are designed for work in underground or confined space to divert energy away from the electrical worker in the case of arc discharge. The blankets are the perfect solution for use in tight spaces such as underground vaults or to create a barrier between the worker and a potential arc ̭flash hazard. This small size blanket is rated for 15kA and meets ASTM F2676-09.
Does not provide insulation from electrical shock. Meets NFPA 70E-2012, ASTM F2676, and is made in the USA. The blankets come with arc tested mounting straps and storage bag. The break-open thermal protection level is BTP 181.
