Arc Flash Protection

We can't find products matching the selection.

PPE is the last line of defense for protecting the electrical worker from the deadly effects of an arc flash event. Everyday work clothes made from regular cotton or poly cotton textile materials can be readily ignited at some exposure level and will continue to burn adding to the extent of injury sustained from the arc alone.  NFPA 70E now requires employees to wear flame resistant (FR) clothing that meets the requirements of ASTM F1506 wherever there is possible exposure to an electric arc flash.  It is always better to remove the potential of an arc flash incident than to have to protect individuals from them. This will reduce the amount of time workers need to be in dangerous work environments and having to work inside cumbersome suits that makes mobility, flexibility, vision and breathing more difficult.

Completely eliminating the necessity of exposing workers to these hazardous environments is not practical so Mitchell Instruments is constantly striving to provide better arc flash clothing and equipment  that reduces these difficulties. We have a 100% return policy to ensure that any equipment ordered from us can be fitted correctly. If you buy it and it does not fit properly, just return it in original condition in the original packaging and we will exchange out for a size that will match your requirements.
