This compact, 30-pound unit packs a 1000VA punch in its current
output taps.This unit is transformer based with a variac control.
It can also measure phase-angle between output
current & compliance voltage (impedance angle of
load), between output current & an external voltage,
or between an external current and voltage. On-board
timer will display in seconds or cycles, and can be
activated with a contact open/close or voltage
applied/removed. Timer can also be used to measure
duration of above states. There are also many preset
features on the unit that can be utilized, including an output
current limit and/or a maximum time duration for the output to protect
the device being tested. It also features "Imax", which enables unit to capture
maximum current output when testing instantaneous trip points. Unit can be operated
manually, or it can be computer controlled to meet application requirements.
