Tests include ground bond, flash/hipot, and function and load test, continuity, polarity and leakage measurements.

When the SafeCheck 8 is used with a Desk Test and Tag Printer the system automaticall produces tags indicating a PASS or FAIL condition together with details of the date, serial number etc. The tags are almost indestructable and are in wide spread use throughout the world.

The SafeCheck 8 system provides the means to automate and simplify the safety and compliance process. The typical configuration is to rotate through four colors of labels – one per calendar quarter – which provides an immediate visual indication as to the tested status of the appliance and extension cord. Additionally, if assets are serialized, it can also provide an automatic means for inventory and pilferage control. Its perational simplicity means easy training and a wider range of possible users, while password protection ensures that test sequences cannot be altered by unauthorized personnel.

The complementary Desk Test ‘n’ Tag system provides you with the complete automatic record keeping system. For use with the SafeCheck 8, SafeTest Luminaire, and other Clare testers, the printer automatically produces test tags that display test results, equipment identification, date of test, barcode ID and can be easily customized to add your own company logo, address and website! Desk Test ‘n’ Tag system produces synthetic, durable tags that are printed immediately after test and give you complete
flexibility, duplicate tags can also be printed for attachment to contracts etc.
