Cable Length Meter Model MIT710 from Mitchell Instrument Company
Cable Length Meter (resistive type) from Mitchell Instrument Co. uses resistance of cable to determine cable length based internal tables for each wire type. The MIT710 length meter is the ideal tool to measure wire or cable inventories remaining on spools. Simply attach the kelvin clips to both ends of the cable under test and set the correct wire type and gauge on the cable length meter display. Measuring Wire Sizes not stored in memory: In USER SELECT mode, you can save up to 8 values for 8 wire samples. First, select a known length of the desired copper or aluminum cable, then measure the resistance. The resistance can then be stored into memory under of the eight user select selector settings. Now you can measure custom cable types to accurate lengths.
